Overview
The project aimed to modernize and expand the university’s e-learning capabilities, making digital education accessible to a wider range of students across multiple disciplines. A team comprising instructional designers, software developers, subject matter experts, and administrative staff was assembled to execute this extensive redevelopment.

Technical Undertaking
Verb Education undertook a thorough needs assessment of the existing Learning Management System (LMS) at Tangaza University College. The goal was to identify gaps in usability, scalability, and performance. The technical overhaul included integrating a cloud-based, scalable LMS designed to accommodate thousands of users while ensuring data security and system resilience.

Instructional designers collaborated closely with faculty members to transform traditional course materials into interactive digital formats, including the development of video-based lessons, quizzes, and discussion forums.

Additionally, the team incorporated state-of-the-art user interface and experience (UI/UX) design principles to create a more intuitive and engaging learning environment. To ensure long-term sustainability, Verb Education provided extensive training to the university’s faculty, focusing on the utilization of the new system and the creation of additional e-learning content.

Outcome
The enhanced e-Learning platform significantly improved learner engagement, reduced dropout rates, and increased the efficiency of course delivery. With the system’s successful implementation, Tangaza University College is now positioned as a leader in digital education within the region, offering students a seamless, flexible learning experience.
